Business Development Manager

Healthcare – sector experience

To manage the complete process of new business acquisition from first contact through to implementation management and internal sign-off by the managing Business Unit. Supporting company growth / development strategies and completing all aspects of a Country business development transaction. The BD Manager will be primarily focused on the due-diligence, financial analysis, valuation analysis, risk analysis and internal approval process associated with the potential transaction, however, will also provide support to other elements of the potential transaction such as the structuring, financing and overall funding; solution developments, implementation, strategies, transaction documentation and negotiation, closing and asset management (transition/integration). The focus will also be to retain and evaluate all current and future contracts ensuring continuation of contract providing the agreed services as required.

• 5 Years work experience in Logistics environment – advantageous
• Previous work experience in industry or comparable experience such as investment banking or consulting preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with specific work experience preferred (Excel expertise essential)

Responsibilities:

Identification of profitable new target sectors and key clients within the sectors
Preparation and presentation on the company’s credentials to target clients
Client needs analysis and solution options generation
Solutions costing and preparation op operations blueprints
Selling of operational solution and commercial case to Client and relevant Business Units
Contractual agreements with emphasis on SLA's
Implementation planning and execution
Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams
Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research
Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
Maintain the business development databases
Support marketing activities, including trade and mailings
Prepare the annual Business Development Plan as well as prepares the annual Work Plan
Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives
Develop and implement strategies for new products and services
Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs
Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the company's strategies
