Location: Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia and DRC
Offer: US$ 2 500.00 per month

Our client requires the services of experienced and highly motivated Business Development Managers to join their Teams in the following countries: Nigeria, Sierra Leone Liberia together and the DRC must be nationals of the said countries.
Salary is about US$2,500/month and the rotation will be normal working rotation for office workers as this is not a project site. Work full year and take annual leave of 30days.

PURPOSE:
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships by marketing the services of the group to new clients. Achieve set targets which both sustain the current sales base and grow the volumes while also identifying and implementing innovative and focused initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in business Administration, Marketing or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible and accountable for commercial aspects of the business; this includes but is not limited to the following areas:
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Presenting Group to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails
You will be responsible for getting new business & maintaining existing contracts at a profitable rate to Group
You will ensure that all Group Human Resources policies and procedures are adhered to within your area of operation
Public Relations – the Country Manager is responsible for the Group public relations with the clients, client’s employees, visitors, suppliers, subcontractors and investors. Group Management is desirous to maintain a good relationship with its employees and this also needs to be taken into account.

Understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations
Competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.
Submit 5 tenders per month
Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
Put in place clear system to track new tenders and contracts

OTHER DUTIES:
Training of staff – Each Manager will ensure continuous training is carried out on all staff who report to you. This is in line with the overall objectives of the Group. All training must be documented.
Each Manager will ensure with the help of the accounts officers that all Group accounts are produced on schedule and send to the approved recipients.
Each Manager will ensure that all Group health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to within your area of operations.
Each Manager assist the Country Manager in getting new business & maintaining existing contracts
Each Manager will ensure that all Group Human Resources policies and procedures are adhered to within your area of operation
Public Relations – each Manager is responsible for the Group public relations with the clients, client’s employees, visitors, suppliers, subcontractors and investors. Group is desirous to maintain a good relationship with its employees and this also needs to be taken into account. Support in all these functions is provided by Group employees.
IT Management – Group has invested in IT for all its projects and we have various IT Group employees to maintain the equipment. Each Manager must oversee the IT in his department and ensure it follows Group IT policies and procedures at all times.
