Purpose of the Job:
The role is central to the creation and delivery of growth strategy with regards to employers, universities and potential members operating in South Africa and Namibia. The role is supportive to both the marketing and education department and will directly target employers, universities, and growth sectors to develop strong business relationships that deliver growth, and to extend the companys brand reputation within employers, universities and growth sectors, positioning the company as a designation of choice for Finance Professionals.

Main Functions:
• Develop Company in South Africa and Namibia employer, university and growth sector strategy and business plan with a specific focus on growth, reputation and influence
• Accountable for setting and monitoring performance targets to ensure strategy is achieved
• Achieves agreed performance targets, ensuring effective communication mechanisms are in place, regular reviews are undertaken in line with procedures
• Using agreed criteria, defines which employers should be targeted, understanding the potential contribution each employer could make to targets and strategy
• Ensures a sales pipeline is managed in line with expected targets and objectives and reports on progress against agreed targets
• Manages an agreed allocation of employer, university and growth sector accounts, developing multi-level relationships, including top to top engagement and engages Approved Learning Providers and other markets to the relationship where appropriate
• Maintains excellent product and service knowledge and is able to apply it to the specific situation/requirements of targeted employer, university and growth sector;
• Supports development of learnership/internship program for graduates from targeted universities
• Maintains the integrity of organisational information including key stakeholders, contact details and history;
• Obtains and maintains all updated data related to students and members of the respective employers
• Understands and factors the implication of economics, market trends, developments in the corporate sector, activities of key competitors and product and service developments from the company on strategy for employers and wider company business
• Actively supports the wider work and initiatives of the company
• Prepare required reports and information

Requirements:
• Possess as minimum a degree. A combination of commerce, education, marketing would be advantageous
• Understand accountancy related issues, finance background would be an advantage
• Demonstrable experience in business development and business-to-business selling, ideally in a professional service based environment
• Sales management experience is desirable
• Knowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques
• Excellent communicator with first class presentation skills, both written and oral
• Excellent and demonstrable interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
• Be able to work under pressure, on own initiative and within agreed budgets
