BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – WESTERN CAPE
An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading telecommunications company based in Western Cape.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Have at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in communications sector and sales experience (proven track record)
• Sales certification or similar
• Matric
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Technical knowledge
• Experience and exposure within a hunter role is an advantage
• Marketing, sales and people management principles
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development of new business
• Plan, strategize and execute to expand both the service provider base and fleet call base while increasing revenue
• Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly and annual sales targets
• Proactively acquire 8 new business appointments on a weekly basis
• Perform marketing co-ordination functions
• Develop sales strategies to feed into budget planning
• Implement appropriate sales programmes
• Ensure the retention of current markets and customers
• Develop strategies to identify and explore new business
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
