Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) with Electrical or Technical Background Based in JHB
Department: Sales
Manager: National Sales Manager
EE Candidates preferred: African, Indian and Coloured male or female
Mission of the Function: BDM will be responsible for the generation and development of new business opportunities specifically within the Key Account, managing existing business relationships with Company’s key Accounts and developing direct sales organisation to further and continuously grow the revenue and market share of Organisation in South Africa.
Qualifications - Min: NDip or Degree in Electrical Eng. Sales and Marketing advantageous.
Must have and not negotiable: solid Technical sales background,
Professional Experience – Min: 5 yrs Metering Field. Pref: 5 -10 yrs Sales in a technical Environment, tenders & quotations.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies in allocated regions or territories, in conjunction with the National Sales Manager. Develop marketing plans per territory and drive their implementation, in line with overall strategies of Organization EMEA, in conjunction with the National Sales Manager. Facilitate the attainment of the budgeted volume and margin targets per territory. Monthly Sales forecasts; Monthly sales reports. Monitor the efficient execution of orders per territory. Point of contact per territory, both for sales channels and directly with customers. Promote and sell the full range of Organization products.
Monthly Cost to company: from R50000 to R60000 pm negotiable depending on Experience
