What are we looking for:

Business Development Officers who are available to join this blue chip client’s Marketing Division and add value to the company’s organization goals by generating high quality lead for Business Insurance and Value Added Products

What will you be responsible for:

• The Business Development Officer contributes to the organizational goals by generating high quality leads for Business Insurance and Value Added Products
• To effectively build and maintain relationships with prospects
• To generate high quality contacts from prospective clients on a daily basis
• To assess marketing opportunities to contribute to the growth of Business Insurance within the Commercial dealership and other
• To gather information on prospects requirements for product enhancement
• To effectively build and manage relationships with management and the call centre
• To effectively promote and advocate the brand to prospective clients in order to convert new contacts to leads
• Understanding customer needs and consistently meeting customer expectations
• To ensure up-to-date industry and market knowledge, as well as internal products, processes
• Deliver on Treating Customers Fairly principles in alignment with regulatory requirements.

What minimum requirements do you need to know about:

• Grade 12 (Standard 10)
• FAIS accreditation
• RE1/5
• Diploma/degree in Marketing
• 3 - 5 years marketing/sales experience in related industries (banking / financial / insurance / business services / industry specific experience according to business needs).
• Some relevant experience in commercial insurance.
• Valid SA Driver’s License
• Own Transport Skills Required (both of these are non-negotiable)
