Position Objective : Responsible for developing, implementing and meeting sales plans and forecasts for the organisation in order to develop and grow the business to meet revenue/ volume targets and would have complete function/national responsibility for Africa region.

Reporting: Sales head Africa
Experience: Around 12 years
Management: 5-15 people
Qualification: MBA or Engineer

Responsibilities
Primary (80% of the time)

* Defines and implements sales / revenue strategy. Responsible for driving revenues from Africa.
* Creating a strategic road map and setting goals & milestones for Africa sales team
* Strategy blue-prints for ROI/market share growth, operational efficiencies and resource optimization
* Ideation, Conceptualization of business opportunities that lead to new lines of revenue generation.
* Enable the sales team through knowledge sharing on Domain, Technology and Customer Centric solutions.
* Provide technical and functional leadership, drive innovation and deliver highly critical projects
* Manages the branches and is responsible for achieving the Africa sales quota.
* Is responsible for the efficient functioning of the channel sales setup (in case no separate channels setup)
* To develop and implement a business strategy, a business plan and a sales strategy to achieve business objectives for a specific mid-size territory.
* Responsible for customer satisfaction, market participation and revenue within the territory and may act as the senior interface with key customers
* Maintains effective business relationships with senior management and, on occasion, influences client executive management"
* Ensures all targets with respect to collections are fulfilled
* Interfaces with the senior management on key accounts
* Works closely with the marketing team to achieve desired market positioning
* Organization capability building – people skills and process maturity (it’s a conscious effort involving gap identifications, action planning, execution and review mechanism.)
* Paving the road map for Africa as a future SBU/Division with independent P&L

* Has complete understanding and is the acknowledged authority in his domain area
* Has in-depth understanding of Business and Market conditions that drive business.
* High degree of People Management Skills.
* Skills to facilitate inter personal and inter department work issues.
* Driving common interest with effective problem solving skills
* Extremely good negotiation skills and communication skills.
