POSITION: Pharma Division - Business Information Manager
REPORTS TO: Head: Strategy & New Business Development

JOB OBJECTIVE
• Responsibility for the Business information, Sales analysis, GP, Market analysis function
• Ensure effective, relevant business information and analysis are supplied to make informed decisions
• Provide information support for all strategic initiatives
• Keep the business updated on market movements within the pharmaceutical environment

TASK DESCRIPTION
Business Intelligence:

• Managing BI tools to ensure timelines & accuracy of data
• Sales
• Financial measurements
• Data
• Tracking Invoiced sales trends by
• Product
• Brand
• Customer
• Regional level
• Providing Commercial Management with regular sales trend reports
• Managing procurement of SSD data and completing SSD sales trend reports by
• Brand
• Product
• Customer
• Region
• Representative level
• Generate sales reports based on SSD data for purposes of calculating sales commissions.
• Manage procurement and analysis of monthly and ad-hoc Impact Rx data.
• Assist key accounts management in formulating monthly & quarterly customers sales trend &
performance reports for completion of key account business reviews
• Preparing various sales targets
• Regional sales
• Customer sales
• Representative sales
based on invoiced sales data, SSD data and / or Impact Rx data.
• Procurement and analysis of IMS data with IQVIA
• Prepare monthly reports on trends (sales, market shares vs. competitors / the market).
• In line with strategic initiatives continuously analyze environmental trends and company data and use predictive tools to ensure a future focus and supply “what-if” scenarios and potential future growth opportunities
• Assist Brand / product managers with monthly / ad-hoc reports
Other:
• Regular liaison with BI tool service provider and other data suppliers (e.g. IQVIA)
• Manage budgets and forecasts as agreed during each process
• Prepare ad hoc analyses, reports and business case studies as required
• Effectively manage business intelligence systems
• Participate with other Business Intelligence / Business information managers across the group, sharing of best practices and adopting group level standards and tools

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Relevant post graduate qualification
• Min experience of 5 years in a sales / market information and intelligence position, preferably within pharmaceutical environment
• Proven track record
• Computer Literacy: Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®, predictive analysis, Power BI®, QlikView®, Dataview® and SQL
• Advanced knowledge of technological tools
• Advanced understanding if IMS and Impact Rx systems
