OVERALL FUNCTION
• Works in an analysis, architecture, design and development role on the BI platforms (Pentaho ETL, MSSQL Server DB and MicroStrategy reporting)
• Managing the reporting and analytics of MicroStrategy & Pentaho to ensure that scheduled jobs are successfully run and analytics data aligns to timeliness / completeness requirements.
• Perform database administrative tasks to ensure that databases feeding the reporting platforms are tuned for optimal performance.
• Managing end-user access to semantic layers of the MicroStrategy & MS SQL Server tools.
• Working with business analysts and section managers to develop and refine reporting requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience
• Min 5 years IT experience.
• Min 5 years solid experience in a SQL environment.
• Good understanding of BI.
• BI reporting tool exposure is a must, particularly MicroStrategy.
• Data warehouse ETL Tools such as Informatica or/and SSIS or/and PENTAHO etc.
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Good communication skills, including ability to interact with client at a senior level.
• Systems analysis and design.
• Sound knowledge of MS office products – in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
