Our client, a specialized business unit within the agricultural sector based in Stellenbosch has a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Manager to join their highly skilled and cutting edge team.

The role entails an experienced manager to establish a consultancy division to drive data insight solutions to internal and external clients. Proven managerial experience in building and leading a specialist and/or multi-disciplinary data analysis team would be beneficiary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and collate data for business analysis, evaluation of the relevant technology required and establishing processes for capturing and
analysing data
• Oversee the business analytics and dashboard process
• Extensive knowledge of web analytics, data management and systems hardware and software
• Oversee strategic and tactical operations of business intelligence teams within the group
• Outline and drive the group’s BI strategy and mission and provide BI consultancy services to clients
• Identify and source suitable resource requirements to build and develop a suitable team


REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent work experience of at least 5 years in a
Business Intelligence function
• Advanced business and technical skills
• Experience and understanding of the agricultural industry will be a bonus
