Key Responsibilities
Assist with collection of data for analysis
Clean data sets and identify missing data
Build excel models for smaller data sets (with resource modelling, and "what-if" scenario, capability)
Consolidate data sets into SQL databases for complex data sets
Construct Qlikview / Business Objects / MS BI Stack models, enabling comprehensive reporting and running of "what-if" scenarios
Build Supply Chain models and run "what-if" analysis
Provide support to the business to drive cost containment and/or cost reductions, delivery flexibility through development of comprehensive BI models
Be attuned to best practices and supply chain trends
Provide ongoing auditing and modelling of existing supply chain data sets and models
Be actively involved in and support change initiatives, be a change agent to drive implementation of the 2015 business strategy
Align BI models to the strategies and goals of the business
Identify areas of opportunity or problems within a supply chain environment
Determine & analyse cost drivers within the business and setup BI models and reports that facilitate this process
Construct robust databases
Deliver effective BI models to analyse data sets
Provide reports and data summaries to the business highlighting revenue and cost saving opportunities
Support internal decision making processes by presenting accurate fact based information, which can be succinctly presented to management for critical review and approval, in either presentation and/or report form

Education & Experience

B.Sc. with Information Technology or Computer Science majors or B.Eng. or other B.Sc. degree with notable computing and mathematical content
Detailed knowledge of database languages (i.e. SQL) and BI tools (i.e. Qlikview / BO / MS BI Stack / VBA)
Advanced computer skills to analyse and manipulate data (excel pivot tables, vlookup and macros)
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in BI modelling
Supply Chain or Logistics business knowledge advantageous
