PBT Group has an opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Systems Analyst (Data Modeller / Solution Architect)

Duties:
- Interact with Business Analysts and End Users to establish information needs
- Conduct data analysis and data profiling
- Develop and document logical and physical data models
- Review data models with functional and technical team
- Interact with Software Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Management and End Users to understand the data model
- Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with data modelling and data integration standards

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years relevant and solid experience
- Solid experience in gathering requirements for reporting solutions and data analytics.
- Solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications, process flows and source-to-target mappings
- Strong SQL query writing ability
- Strong experience in logical and physical data modelling using a variety of techniques including Kimball.
- Experience with managing metadata.
- Strong database fundamentals and data modelling knowledge.
- Experience in ETL design and good understanding of ETL controller functions.
- Good understanding of ODS, data warehouse, data mart, cube, and database technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications/ Certification:
- A degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration / Commerce or equivalent
