Our client is looking for a Business Process Engineer position on a 6 month contract. The incumbent will be required to understand and document business processes in their AS-IS state. Once this is understood the incumbent must facilitate further workshops to bring the process into a desired TO-BE state. Major areas of responsibility are process design, operationalising such processes and implementation, the successful candidate must be able to improve processes, creates efficiencies (financial & time) for business. This must be done with a keen eye on risks and always align to governance and policies

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, configure, optimize and document processes from inception end to end
Develop governance and policy aligned, routines and innovative solutions to improve business processes of high quality
Perform process simulations
Perform risk assessments
Facilitate workshops

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Post graduate Honours Degree
Advanced post graduate – Diploma NQF Level 8

MINIMUM WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE
Proven work experience in process engineering
Good technical skills
Knowledge of process related standards
Experience in process simulations
Familiarity with Higher Education space
Strong knowledge of process engineering software and strong process modelling skills
Ability to work in Scrum Teams
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
