Functional Summary- Compiling of business requirement specifications for business needs and working with the vendors and internal staff to find solutions to business needs
- Optimize the business by compiling, reviewing and improving business and system processes for the postpaid business and its stores
- Find the optimum balance between available system functionality and business needs to keep costs low and the business functioning efficiently
Educational Qualifications / Experience Required
- Minimum Qualification : IT Degree, National Technical Diploma or relevant practical experience
- Minimum 5 years’ business / systems analysis experience in an IT environment serving telecommunications post-paid customers
- Experience in modelling techniques and methods
- Understanding of system engineering techniques
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle

Main Functions Business Specification
- Compile specifications for business requirements in collaboration with business, management and the vendor. These include functional and non-functional requirements
- Gather, document and distribute configuration and business rule information on how the business systems needs to function.
- Identify and resolve causes of business inefficiencies or cases of bad service to customers to improve the system functions and support of the business environment.
- Perform impact assessments for business requirements
- Use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests and a project’s scope.
Business Analysis
- Review the existing business processes, system processes, system functionality and weigh that against business needs to determine gaps and future development roadmaps
- Design, analyze, document workflow and make appropriate recommendations
- Keep track of business needs, gaps and issues related to functionality that are required by business.
- Assistance in compiling business cases
- Analysis of existing systems and business models and mapping and documenting system interfaces
Problem Solving & Solution Design
- Collaborate across business, architecture and management to find the best way to address and resolve application challenges
- Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
- Leading of JAD and other sessions to drive out solutions and obtain business requirements
- Drive best practice, innovation and continuous improvement as principles on processes and system developments
- Design and document solutions to meet current and future requirements that
- Facilitate communication on challenges, work arounds and business
- Work closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users and ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
