We are currently seeking a Business Unit Manager for one of our well established clients with in the contract logistics spectrum.

Requirements:
Relevant Degree
10 years operations experience in logistics / production environment.
5 years management experience.
Manufacturing planning experience.
Financial management experience, including budgeting and tracking.
Shop floor focused leadership and work ethic.
Problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities:
Operational leadership on all aspects of the business.
Daily shop floor reviews and layered audits and follow up and close out diligently.
Line management of Branch Managers.
Accountable for all initiatives being implemented in the account, (project management and CIP driver).
Financial control for the account and to be accountable for all account budgets, to achieve budget and stretch profit targets.
Meeting all customer SLAs - hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annually.
Compliance of sites to company & client standards.
SPQRCE / SHERQ – achieve minimum requirements,
Implement and maintain quality management systems
Training and development.
Key role in account renewal.
Develop and manage succession plans for all staff.
