BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – KWAZULU NATAL
An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading telecommunications company based in Kwazulu Natal
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Have at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in communications sector and sales experience (proven track record)
• Bcom Degree in Business Management (advantage)
• Matric
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Technical knowledge
• Understanding of the telecommunication environment
• Experience and exposure within a hunter role is an advantage
• Marketing, sales and people management principles
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development of new business
• Plan, strategize and execute to expand both the service provider base while increasing revenue
• Manage the sales process and provide support for the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
• Manage the sales budget to ensure return on investments
• Identify key decision makers and build strategic relationships
• Develop and manage processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective integration of new business
• Implement appropriate sales programmes
• Ensure the retention of current markets and customers
• Ensure budgets are managed appropriately
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
