My client a Frozen Food distributor is looking for a store manager for our City Deep retail store and to start immediately. This person must be able to take charge and run a retail outlet with a no nonsense attitude, it is not a checkers or Pick'n'Pay or other retail outlet it is in City Deep and the clientele are predominantly bulk buyers.

He will oversee the retail side of the operation + a new initiative we will install (Fish production/packing plant)

The successful candidate:

1. Must be a hardworking male with a stable track record and references.
2. Must have retail experience, cold store, refrigeration type would be preferable
3. Own transport is a must
4. Ability to work a 10 hour shift
5. Clean criminal and credit record.
6. Rotational weekend shifts
7. Store leadership/management skills
8. Assertive
9. Able to work at pace, unattended and “own the branch” income statement/profit and loss account
10. Work under pressure in a tough environment
