Butler | Sabi Sands Game Reserve | 5 Star Lodge

We are currently looking for a BUTLER to join this well-known hospitality group with luxury lodges located in the Sabi Game Reserve. Each of the lodges flanks the Sabi River and enjoys spectacular views of both the bush and the animals that flock to the water’s edge.

As ideal candidate you will have:

Previous experience from 5 star establishment
Diploma/Certificate in Butler service
highest level of F&B customer service in luxury environment
Knowledge in Wine, cocktails and other beverages served, Food, cooking methods and all menus
Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles.
Good communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication.
Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm and emotional control.
Excellent time management and self-discipline.
Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required.
Key Focus Areas

F&B service

Follow procedures for service, sales, expenses and profit goals
Perform consistent service according to the service standards and be fully prepared for each guest
Be aware of all menu changes and dietary requirements of the guests
Upsell and recommend items to the guests
Obey Liquor regulations
Support optimal communication between the kitchen and service team
General Service and Guest Care

Collect all information available on guests prior to arrival
Collect guest information while speaking to the guests
Report al guest complaints to the Supervisor/HOD
Assist in any other department when needed
Maintain a high standard at all times
Salary package:

basic salary is negotiable
