Manufacturers of cleaning supplies and equipment – looking for a Buyer, with 5 years experience

SALARY: R18 - 20 000 basic pm – negotiable with the experience

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Matric + relevant qualifications
• Valid Driver’s Licence & own reliable transport.
• Computer literacy – Excel
• Min 5 years’ experience – mid-weight buying experience
• Good communicator and team player
• STRONG negotiator
• Attention to detail & well organised person

DUTIES
• Ensuring stock levels – are correct at all times
• Stock control
• Source the correct products at the right time and price - in line with approved requests, the business plan and predicted stock levels.
• Create purchase orders
• Negotiate supplier prices
• Update supplier contract prices
• Ensuring the products are delivered on time
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones
• Getting feedback from customers
• Ad-hoc duties as specified by the direct Manager.
