In order to be considered for this position you will need:
Requirements
• A relevant tertiary computer science or equivalent qualification
Experience
? 5 years Development experience in the following:
? C#, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, .NET 2005-2012, Javascript, Jquery, HTML.
? SQL Server, 2005 – 2014.
? Transact-SQL.
? SQL reporting services.
? Experience in financial systems, Accpac ERP.
? Experience in file manipulation.
Senior developer must be able to perform as:
? Collaborate with Developers, Account Managers and Project Managers.
? Estimate development tasks and execute well on project schedules.
? Interact with clients to create requirement specifications for projects.
? Innovate new solutions and keep up with new emerging technologies.
? Mentoring and training of other developers.
? Provide daily support on existing and new systems.
? Be able to develop a system from Requirement to Maintenance. (SDLC)
Job Description
• Must work in a team with other .NET and developers within boundaries of strict project deadlines.
• Must also be able to work independently.
• Must also be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.
• Ability to adapt to new languages and technologies.
• Documentation skills, i.e. the standard and quality of documents.
• C#, .NET Framework and SQL Server.
• The ability to solve problems.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft .NET and other Microsoft platforms, products and tools.
• Demonstrated history of delivering completed projects.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Planning, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining the current fuel management application software and website.
• Fault finding / Problem analysis.
• Testing and Debugging.
• Client / Customer interaction on daily basis.
• Planning, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining web and windows applications.
• Planning, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining web and windows services.
