C# / WCF Developer

Permanent C# .Net Software Developer

Main Purpose:
• To support and grow as part of an in-house development and maintenance team;
• To develop and maintain innovative and current software solutions;
• Support integration to new data sources;

Required Skills and qualifications:
• 4-6 years’ experience in software development, specifically C# .Net
• BSc (Computer Science) degree or similar
• Exposure to the financial or credit industries – advantageous
• Relevant technologies include, and are not limited to:
o Net 2.5 and above, WCF / ASP Web API, ASP .Net / ASP .Net MVC, WPF and Silverlight, HTML / CSS / JavaScript, MS SQL Server and SSRS, Crystal Reports.

Main Responsibilities/ Tasks:
• The development and support of web based software solutions using .Net framework 2.5 and above
• Complete system Integration
• Troubleshooting, issue resolution, support and continued maintenance
• SQL Server Database design and development
• Full SDLC process which includes analysis, design, development and implementation of high quality custom software solutions.

Job related knowledge / Functional Experience:
• Integration Functionality including WCF Services/ ASP Web API is essential.
• Solid understanding of design, development and support for ASP.NET MVC solutions is essential.
• Solid SQL & T-SQL skills such as stored procedures, to join statements, partitions, etc.
• XML, XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD, datasets
• Solution and website deployment onto test and live environment
• Setup of services and applications in IIS6 and above
• Experience in Web forms (AJAX)
• Visual Studio 2008, 2010
