PREVIOUS SHORT TERM INSURANCE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL!
100% Afrikaans (read write and speak) and English
Clean ITC and criminal record – checks will be done.
Driver licence and own transport.

The company has some skills in .Net, C# and SQL Server but only in the context of a management reporting system, integration with third-party systems, premium calculation modules and general utilities. The candidates will therefore be expected to take a technical lead and to provide advice in the context of transaction processing systems with hundreds of users each. That candidate must therefore be very knowledgeable about C# as well as SQL Server, and be willing and able to share such knowledge with team members.
• Develop and maintain application software according to functional requirement specifications, processes and standards;
• Develop and maintain utilities;
• If requested, maintain the source-to-source translator and other third-party tools;
• Take part in the design of the database and software;
• Perform unit testing and hand over completed software to the QA team (“IAT”) for further testing, within agreed timeframes;
• Participate in general trouble-shooting of the software and the database;
• Update system documentation
