JOB SPECIFICATION – C# DEVELOPER

Position is based in Johannesburg – Gautrain Services can be used.
The individual will be responsible for assessing change- and fault requests that are logged on Client systems and responding to Client requests. Client requests include performing administrative tasks on Client systems, attending to new report designs as well as well as attending to development changes related to new feature requests and fault reports within the n-tier, ASP.NET architecture.
This role requires working with financial transactions and large amounts of data and as such the perfect candidate should be comfortable with calculations and should be naturally inclined towards balancing and working with financial data.


Skills / Requirements
- Relevant Degree, Diploma or 5 years working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft’s ASP.NET and SQL technologies
- Insurance knowledge advantageous
- Knowledge on the n-tier architectural framework methodology advantageous
- C# programming on new MVC Systems
- Javascript
- ASP.Net
- ASP Classic
- Linq to SQL
- SSAS, SSIS and SSRS
- SQL and T-SQL scripting
- SQL database design
- MS .Net 2.0 through 4.0
