Responsibilities & Activities
Compiling Control & Instrumentation design specifications and standards.
Develop PLC/SCADA software standards in accordance with best engineering practices (starter pack, BPC templates, structure, navigation, integrated project, hardware diagnostics).
Assist with developing & implementation of the complete automation value chain - from design to commissioning.
Develop system architectures and network topologies.
PLC/SCADA development, implementation, testing and commissioning.
PLC/SCADA maintenance and support.
General instrumentation engineering.

Experience
5-7 years C&I/System Engineering project experience.
SIEMENS PLC/SCADA programming (within the last 5 years).
SIEMENS TIA portal experience is advantageous.
SIEMENS architecture, incl. Profibus DP and ASi bus.
SIEMENS WinCC experience, incl. Basic Process Control.
Industrial networking.
Systems thinking and integration of systems.
SIEMENS SYNAMICS S120 VSD experience is advantageous.
ISA.88 batching experience is advantageous.
Wonderware Archestra experience is advantageous.
Large project experience is advantageous

Skills & Acumen
Programming (incl. higher level language).
Database use (incl. queries & reporting).
Fault finding.
Natural tendency to develop efficiency tools.

Minimum Qualifications
B.Sc/B.Eng/B.Ing/B.Tech degree (Electronic Eng)
