Telecommunications leader is seeking to employ a CA
Duties and Responsibilities :
• The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst should be a driven, organised and professional person who will assist the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance team.
• Investigate and analyse investment opportunities
• Perform and manage finance/commercial Due Diligence on acquisition target
• Manage HR, Commercial, Operational and Network Due Diligence outcomes
• Prepare and propose deal structure and valuation
• Prepare Investment case for acquisitions
• Prepare Q&A documentation
• Manage the legal and secretarial requirements for the conclusion of the deal
• Manage implementation date
• Handover of target to financial and operational teams
• Post-deal administration (earn-outs) Corporate Finance
• Preparation of operational and commercial information (users, ARPU etc)
• Reconciliation and so forth of earnings, revenue and users General Finance
• Assist with budgets
• Assist with annual audit of group entities
• Assist with financial admin relating to integration of WISPs
• Assist with ad-hoc internal audit projects Competencies:

• IFRS, Income Tax Act and Companies Act
Qualification and experience:
• The ideal candidate must have a Chartered Accountant Qualification;
• Minimum 0 – 1-year post article experience (preference will be given to candidates from a medium to small audit firm)
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry will be preferred
• Willing to participate in the JSE Sponsored Development Program
