JOB DESCRIPTION:
Process survey information on the CAD system to draw various plans and models of the mining and other areas to enable efficient decision making by various stakeholders TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and generate mine plans, on request, using appropriate systems
• Ensure all plans are up to date and submitted timeously (DMR, Areas of Responsibility, Regulation 17)
• Ensure all statutory mine plans are up to date
• Maintain an inventory of all statutory mine plans
• Plan and design specific mine related activities
• Maintain departmental budget
• Manage relevant stock levels
• Administrate and maintain spatial data base
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 (Maths and Science)
• COM Certificate Survey Draughting
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Survey Draughting
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced MS Office Suite – an advantage)
• Recognized CAD qualification or equivalent (e.g. BENTLEY, Auto Desk, GEMCOM and MineRP)
• Valid driver’s license OTHER SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
