Location: Pinetown, KZN

Description: A company who provides expert laboratory support and services in the chemical, paper, pharmaceutical, food, polymer, mining, educational, petroleum and health care industry, requires a experienced Calibration Technician. Duties include but is not limited to: on-site calibrations of laboratory equipment (balances, ovens, pH meters, viscometers, spectrophotometers, refractometers and autoclaves); liaising with customers with regards to calibrations; ensuring that documentation is up to date.

Key Requirements: Electrical/Engineering/Scientific qualification. 3-5 years calibration experience. Excellent technical skills and work experience with different scales. Valid driver’s license and willing to travel. Ability to work independently. Residents of KwaZulu Natal will have preference.

Additional Requirements: Attention to detail. Able to work well with customers. Good communication and record keeping skills.

Remuneration: Market related with company car included, pension fund and commission structure.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
