The Call Centre is the heart of the company. It is the centre of our business and often the initial point of contact for our customers. It is therefore important that any person that is employed as a Call Centre Agent meets specific criteria with regards to professional telephony manners. This is a temporary 4 month position.

Duties of the role include the following:
• Provide professional services to existing and potential customers;
• Attend to all customer queries expediently;
• Uphold the image and good name of the Group;
• Answer calls within three rings;
• Update customers details on GASP;
• Liaise where necessary with all internal departments and branches;
• Trace customers as per the exception lists ad resolve expediently;
• Maintain the allocated base;
• Deal with customer recharges
• Action rate changes as per customer requests;
• Provide technical support where possible telephonically;
• Support fellow colleagues;
• Build customer relations.

In order to be considered for the position, the following requirements must be met:
• English, Afrikaans and an African language is required.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience as a call centre agent in a similar environment
• Computer literacy, including Windows, Outlook and Excel
