Telemarketing / Customer Service Assistant - Salary up to R9,000pm

A highly successful International Technology company has an opportunity for an organised and professional General Assistant to join their team.

Working in a complex call centre environment, the focus of this position is to co-ordinate incoming and outgoing calls (both for internal and external customers), providing prompt and efficient responses to client queries and explaining on-site procedures.

Responsibilities will include lifting and moving computer equipment; please make sure you have considered this before applying and clearly indicate any similar experience on your CV.

Your responsibilities will include all of the below:

* Provide excellent customer service to both internal & external clients

* IT literate & confident with MS Office package i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook

* General supervision of maintenance taking place in the office

* Goods lift supervision during deliveries

* Keep a log on internal system of work carried out

* Maintain a log of incoming & outgoing deliveries

* Maintain & clean the site to a suitably professional level

* Update site access lists & issuing security passes

* Ensure health & safety policy is followed & escalate any issues that may possibly cause a hazard

* Occasional Receptionist / Front Office duties

You will need to be capable of working in a fast paced environment where at any one time the phone could be ringing, a customer needs assistance, a delivery requires a signature and all expecting your attention and speedy, professional service.

Excellent and professional communication skills are essential to be considered for this role as the successful candidate will regularly interact with clients and have varying administrative tasks to complete.

You will work alongside the technical team - though will not have any technical responsibilities - so an interest in technology and computer hardware would be of benefit.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of between R5000 - R9,000 per month dependent on relevant skills and experience.
