My client, a well known national manufacturing and recycling company is seeking to employ a recently graduated chemical or industrial engineering student who is looking to grow and mold their career partnering their skills in chemical/industrial engineering with the thrill of technical sales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take their career on a journey with this large national organisation.

Duties:

Cold calling
Business development
Growing and maintaining relationships with customers
Set up appointments with clients in the mining and heavy industry, present the company to clients, do in-person visits, make telephone calls etc
Researching different solutions for different process by-products and waste streams
Project management

This role requires a person who has the right qualification coupled with the right personality (outgoing, driven, motivated, well spoken etc) who can be molded and mentored by the manager into a technical sales representative to eventually take over and fully manage the clients on their own. No experience is needed, main focus is on the qualification and personality and eagerness to learn and grow. This is very much a supportive role to the Technical Sales Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

Chemical or Industrial engineering qualification a must
Personality : driven, confident, out going, bubbly, ability to present company in a board room as well as put on overalls to inspect the workshop, eagerness to learn and grow, desire to succeed
Project management experience is a bonus
Own car and drivers licence
No experience in sales needed as the person will be trained, molded and mentored

Salary:

R15 000 - R20 000 CTC
