Guide Training School - 2 Camps - Limpopo

We are looking for a vibrant person, that loves the hospitality industry but who can take responsibility.

Experience in the hospitality/lodge industry is essential, plus own transport.

Menu design and food management including stock monitoring and ordering

Checking food deliveries against order placement forms
Managing cleaning and cooking staff to ensure their roles are carried out as per their job description.
General oversight of the camp, including cleanliness, appearance and equipment
Inventory management, including additions and removal from camp lists and quarterly reporting to head office.
Interface for relevant camp related issues between reserve management team and Training School
Completing fridge replenishment on a daily basis and drinks reconciliations and stocking drinks cupboard as required
All admin paperwork (i.e. preparation of weekly student drink lists, reconciliations, ordering, expenses)
Meet, greet and host visitors along with head /assistant instructors (responsible for house -keeping, meals and general needs of the guests during their stay in camp)
Managing intern/volunteer day to day activities when instructors are out of camp, often providing direction and leadership.
Managing interface between suppliers regarding camp visits or enquiries (tent repairs etc.)
Main contact between to office and the camp for day to day and student issues
Monitor and respond to company emails on behalf of head / assistant instructors
Visits to town to replenish camp sundries and equipment when necessary
Prepare and deliver lectures on communication skills as part of the Training syllabus, specifically the presentation skills lecture.
Observe student presentation and assess against the standard alongside the head/assistant instructor
Provide one-to-one feedback for students on presentation skills.
Coach and mentor students as necessary and when asked to on communication skills or any personal issues that are encountered due to group dynamics and relationships
Manage camp issues whether student of staff related on a day to day basis
Provide ongoing support for head / assistant instructors for any occurring issues / challenges
Plan and arrange meals and housekeeping items for the 2 day sleep out.
Ensure the equipment is respected and looked after by completing daily/weekly monitoring exercises.
Salary R 7 500 - R 8 500 including accommodation
