Job Title: Campaign Manager – Short Term Insurance
Short Description of Position: We have an exciting new initiative for a dynamic Campaign Manager who will play an instrumental role in the management and growth of our short term insurance business. We require someone with short term insurance or broking expertise to supplement our telesales division and fast track this initiative. This individual would need to impart knowledge, manage processes, ensure compliance, monitor resources, report real-time and motivate, coach, lead and drive positive staff behaviour. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for driving both individual and team performance to achieve sales targets.
Location: On the Ridge – 2 Ncondo Place, Umhlanga Ridge

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Impart short term insurance knowledge to management and team members
• Keep abreast of industry and market trends to maintain a competitive edge and anticipate client needs
• Advise management of best practice business principles and procedures and ensure compliance with FAIS and FSB regulations
• Monitor growth of individual team members and provide guidance to maximize individual outputs.
• Provide coaching and motivation to staff to drive high-performance and positive behavior.
• Delegates and leverages resources to achieve results in the most efficient and effective manner
• Create schedules, monitor and report on schedule adherence
• Generates innovative ideas that are strategically sound and progressive.
• Fosters creativity and contributes to all sales initiatives and processes.
• Identifies sales management needs, develops and leads initiatives to address these needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely sales reports.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Extensive knowledge of motor and household insurance
• Strong comprehension of English Language and excellent communication skills
• Excellent sales ability with proven track record
• Proficient in MS Office
• Effective presentation skills

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• FAIS related qualification with a minimum of 120 credits and/or
• Completed RE 5 exams for reps
• 2 years recent motor and household broker / short term insurance experience gained within a corporate organization
• 2 years sales management experience
• Call centre experience advantageous but not essential

Remuneration: R 15 000 – R 20 000 (negotiable based on experience) + Commission
Working Hours: Normal working hours will be Monday to Thursday from 08:45am – 18:00pm, Fridays from 8:45am – 16:00pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8:45am – 13:00pm (if required)
