ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of our Campaign Marketing Manager is to manage the design, development and implementation of the marketing campaign strategy to promote all of Mondia’s products and services specific to the Sub Saharan Africa region. The key objective of this role will be in implementing and developing the customer value management and analytical CRM activities for the different content verticals by engaging with Sales, Product Marketing, Business Partners, Content partners and internal stakeholders to onboard new customers, cross-sell, up-sell and drive recurring purchases
The portfolio consists of the following responsibilities:
• Campaign Management – Co-ordinate all campaigns and prioritise the campaign roadmap based on high revenue generating campaigns. Continuously analyse consumer behaviors and performance of services in order to recommend campaigns. Manage campaigns from conception through to final analysis. Create final reports for dissemination to stakeholders and recommendations on outcome of campaign. Recommend and channel campaigns through the correct communication mediums for both traditional direct media and digital media. Coordinate with Mondia Advertising Team for planning, execution, and optimization of digital performance marketing campaigns. Assess uptake using the different communication channels to measure effectiveness.
• Customer Development Plan – Analyse data on an on-going basis to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Define and present proposals to increase ARPU and stimulate revenue. Manage the implementation of campaigns using the correct communication channels. Track and measure success of campaigns against the KPI’s. Manage active base and analyse behaviours to ensure segmented/targeted campaigns are designed to engage customers and bring them out of early dormancy and prevent attrition of active base. Design campaigns based on content consumption to stimulate repeat purchases
• Research and Analytics – Coordinate with BI (Business Intelligence) to identify revenue opportunities and customer/product/service/content trends. Oversee on-going research for best practices in customer / product behaviour and share them with stakeholders to influence the design of campaigns. Conduct deskbound research to identify trends, threats and opportunities to stimulate revenue growth. Track competitor activities daily and execute campaigns that match or are more competitive to ensure prevention of share of wallet movement due to Multi SIM behaviour. Implement innovative strategies to drive acquisition of new services
• Life Cycle Management – Build Life Cycle messaging for all products and services. Implement the Life Cycle plans based on Segmented profiles. Work with the technical teams to automate these campaigns and to design a recommendation engine. Ensure that campaigns are designed to engage with customers through their life stage on the product/service
• Performance Management – Work closely with management to ensure that we are tracking against the business plan targets and revenue is tracking positively per Product, Service and Content Portfolio.

Other qualifications include:
• Proven track record in Campaign Management, Digital Marketing and CVM (ideally within a Technology Content & Information service provider or a Media Company)
• Excellent knowledge of the Telecom Operator landscape on Content and Media services (entertainment services)
• Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach to solution-selling
• Ability to influence and effectively articulate a campaign plan
• A proven track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and execution
• Competitor analysis skills to assesses competitors by comparing the Mondia product portfolio to competitors' products.
• Implementation of strategies towards the achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for the portfolio
• Strong analytical skills and previous experience with revenue forecasting
• Degree in Marketing Management and Digital Communication
• CVM system experience
• Minimum 5 years of combined direct marketing and digital marketing experience
• South African citizen or holder of SA work permit
