Job Title: Capability Maturity Specialist

Location: Midrand

Salary: R300 000 negotiable

A leading Telecoms company is looking for a Capability Maturity Specialist that will report into a multi-disciplinary team focussed on capability maturity improvement, with the aim to achieve/maintain industry recognised certification, improve efficiency/effectiveness of practices and integration of fiduciary compliance.

Reporting to the Head of Service Level management and Capabilities, through the Capability Maturity Specialist, the individual will assist in the Division's Quality Services and Organizational Compliance Plan, including ensuring that the necessary monitoring, training and awareness is in place to ascertain compliance. This individual will assist with CMM assessments and specific Quality Standard internal audits, peer reviews, process improvement projects and documentation training. In addition, this individual will be required to engage in research, as well as organising, coordinating and scheduling of any other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:
• Bcom Accounting Degree with IT experience or any of the following will be considered:
1. ITIL
2. COBIT
3. ISO9001
4. ISO27001
5. ISO2000

Duties:

• Keep current on changes in Fiduciary and industry laws, regulations, rules, and guidelines;
• Assist in the planning, management, and implementation of the compliance plan;
• Assist in development of approach to monitor and measure compliance with Quality Standards and alignment to Management Frameworks;
• Assist in conducting internal audits and capability assessments;
• Assist in development and participate in training programs regarding Quality Standards and Management Frameworks;
• Receive and assist in investigating reports of risk to non-compliance;
• Review the work of others;
• Periodically (at least annually) update the organizational compliance plan; and,
• Coordinate with departments and functions the planning of assessments, internal audits and 3rd party audits:
o Assist with preparation of annual assessment/audit schedule and monthly assessment/audit plan of all departments.
o Assist with the assessment/internal audit as per approved schedule and plan.
o Assist with the preparation of applicable reports and circulation to all concerned for closure dates.
o To organise and prepare Agendas and Minutes of Meetings.
• To update all concerned departments for /revision/updates/changes related to ISO and other requirements.
