Card Manager, Centurion

Job Purpose:
To ensure the development, execution and continuous improvement of the card strategy including product development, pricing strategy, promotions, distribution strategy and retailer strategy to increase the rates of acquisition, up- and cross-selling and retention of card holders. Managing the resources required for the execution of approved plans including financial resources, human capital and information technology. Establishing and improving operational processes and procedures to execute strategy and plans.

Minimum requirements:
• Post-school qualification
• Degree in Business Management will be an advantage
• Computer literacy (MS Office)

Experience:
• 8 years’ operational work experience in Banking, Financial Services, Rewards industry or Card Retail Industry
• 5 years’ management experience
• Experience in and understanding of Contact Centre processes and systems will be an advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

• Application knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Fica and NCA
• Financial acumen
• Finance market knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical product and system knowledge
• Knowledge of various distribution channels and marketing & product development strategies
• Knowledge of Contact Centre processes

• Develop, implement and manage long and short-term business strategies to achieve business unit objectives
