VACANCY: Cardiovascular Sales Representative
REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager - Inland
DEPARTMENT: Sales
DIVISION: Radiology
AREA: Gauteng
Objectives:
The Cardiovascular Sales Representative sells a specified portfolio of Surgical Innovations’ products to end users and customers in hospitals and clinical facilities. Product conversions with HCP and AP. Quote to invoice (sales) conversions.
Requirements and experience:
• Suitable Life Sciences tertiary qualification an advantage.
• Minimum five years active sales experience in the Radiology devices industry with specific experience in diagnostic and interventional
Radiology.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends
• Fluency in English mandatory. Fluency in Afrikaans an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficiency with SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Customer relations
• Valid driver license
• Own reliable vehicle
• Valid vehicle insurance
• Residence in or around west or north Johannesburg
Key Outputs:
• Promote radiology portfolio to new and current customers
• Achieve sales targets as set by management
• Monthly market intelligence to be supplied to marketing division
• Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting and planner completion
• Market report weekly to first line manager
• Good communication skills
• Strong Customer relations • Ensure effective use of company approved sales material by conducting market analyses and monitor competitive activity and changing customer needs on a continual basis.
• Meeting regularly with clients and accounts to present and demonstrate products and to explain their features and benefits • Participate in a variety of sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing promotions, and to share information about sales goals.
• Maintains a high level of knowledge about products and competitor products and their advantages and disadvantages. • Sets and achieves personal performance goals for sales volume, new contacts made, new client sales and other related sales results achieved.
