Career Education Facilitator (x2)

Job Purpose
To develop and deliver quality career education content and information.
Key Responsibilities
1. To source and offer career information sharing services, education and advice.
2. To serve walk-in clients and handle/respond to general client queries and requests.
3. To facilitate and mediate career education resources to learners, educators and post-school youth.
4. To conduct training of School Governing Bodies, LRC’s, HOD’s, District SES’ and so forth.
5. To conduct campaigns to mobilize local communities towards their involvement in career guidance and education.
6. To carry out internal and external career advice and education activities at expos, exhibitions, etc.
7. To provide logistical and content development support during special events such as focus weeks.
8. To deliver on tasks delegated by the Programme Officer or Senior Programme Officer
9. Be involved with the induction, orientation, guidance and support to new staff, team members and/or interns.
10. To work in different geographical areas within and across Gauteng province, after-school hours, during weekends and some school holidays.

Minimum requirements
1.1 Education
? A diploma preferably in Education, Career Development or any learning in Psychology field
1.2 Relevant work experience
? 2 years’ experience in education and training
? 2 years’ experience in education project implementation
1.3 Required competencies (skills, knowledge and behavioural attributes)
? Communication Skills (Facilitation, Mediation, Presentation and Report Writing, etc.)
? Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Database, PowerPoint, internet and Outlook)
? Valid vehicle driver’s license
? Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
? Good Administration skills
? Problem-solving skills
