Established company is looking for a Carpark Manager in Newlands, Cape Town

Salary: Negotiable
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07h00 – 16h00
Saturday – 07h00 – 12h00

Requirements for position:
• Matric or equivalent
• Experience in operations in a car park
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communications skills (Ability to communicate fluently and professionally in Afrikaans and English)
• Ability to manage relationship with landlord, management & staff
• Ability to deal with staff discipline & conflict
• Customer orientated and strong leadership qualities
• Team work orientated and a proactive individual
• Hands on individual willing to accept accountability
• Computer literate (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Shift work. Weekends and public holidays a requirement
• Previous pay-on-foot experience not a requirement

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Management of car park staff and ensuring that the staff are correctly deployed
• Managing staff relations, disciplinary issues and performance management
• Ensuring that the car park equipment is fully functional and malfunctions are attended to timeously
• Ensure that the car park meets its optimum service levels at all time as per the service level agreement
• Maintaining stock levels of critical supplies
• Analysing computer generated data to optimize statistical information
• Conduct meetings with staff/service providers on increasing services levels
• Maintaining health and safety regulations in the workplace
• Responsible for all banking daily
• Any other duties as and when required
• Ability to work long hours and deal with a demanding landlord
