Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Registered Nurse with either ICU, Theatre or ER experience
- Registered with the SANC
- 1 to 2 years experience as a case manager
- Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding experience with Scales of Benefits/ARS Contracts advantageous
- Computer literate

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients accounts to ensure accurate billing
- Update clinical information and communicate with medical schemes
- Ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT billing
- Ensure compliance to the South African Coding standards
- Ensure proper records are kept
- Daily ward rounds with in-patients
- Comply with contractual turn around times
- Confirm final authorisations are correct and release folders for final billing
- Assist credit control to resolve short payments after discharge
