The ideal candidate to possess the following characteristics and attributes:
• Matric
• At least 2 years experience as a Cashier in a sales or marketing orientated work environment
• Knowledge of the construction and building industry added to an understanding of the key players associated to these industries
• Must be honest, trustworthy, detailed and organized
• In line with Group Recruitment Policy, preference will be given to AA candidates

Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
• Ensure each customers receives outstanding services
• Greet customers as they are serviced
• Answer phone calls
• Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Accurately and efficiently manage invoicing, card facilities and maintain all cash at registers
• Maintain orderly appearance of work area and surrounding public areas
• Perform other tasks assigned, from time to time by management
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
