Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
- Raises and collates reports and manages daily time clocking system, ensuring accurate time keeping for the warehouse and Dawn Cargo
- Manages credit note filing and associated administration
- Raises and collates daily / monthly reports as required by Sales Management and assistance with Reps budgets to Sales Management
- Assists with general clerical work, as may be required by Management from time to time.
- · Responsible for the correct receipting of all monies (cash and cheques) from drivers and customers alike
- · Assuring monies are correctly manually receipted and then correctly entered into the computer system and banked on a daily basis.
- · Assuring all associated administration procedures are accurately recorded as per the company and branch requirements
- · Relief telephone duties are carried out professionally and courteously, as per the branch requirement
- · Assist with monthly Debtors auditing functions
- · Processing of discount matrix on system as instructed by Sales Management
- Printing of Monthly pricelist for reps & customers
The ideal candidate will meet the above criteria and possess the following characteristics and attributes:
- Matric
- Very strong reconciliation skills
- Very strong admin skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be to understand accounting and other systems
- Previous experience within an administrative role covering all requirements and within a similar environment
- Valid driver’s license AND own reliable transportation
- Must be able to work independently and use initiative
- Participate in group functions and subscribe to company policy and portray a team player attitude
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English and Afrikaans essential)
- Computer literacy (MS Office / Word / Excel / Outlook)
