Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancy within the Channel Marketing – Category Planning department. One of the positions will be dedicated to PFM and the other to On Premise.This position will report directly to the Category Manager and support the team.

KEY PURPOSE
To provide space planning capabilities to clients using category management principles and software by utilizing the current reality manipulation, resulting in creating a perfect state to implement in customer. To provide an analytical, statistical and conceptualisation support function by customer in order to highlight customer performance, trends, competitive intelligence & to develop Trade Activation Models.

KEY OUTPUTS
• Analysis of store, shopper and retail data to identify opportunities in line with company and customer strategy.
• Produce planograms that deliver brand/ pack/regional to support the Company and Account strategies.
• Ensure share of shelf.
• Ensure optimal brand positioning and profitability.
• Maintain category and product flows.
• Develop and drive strategies through the application of research findings.
• Develop, implement, monitor and communicate Trade Activation Models.
• Develop equipment innovation based on opportunities identified.
• Conduct regular store visits.
• Adhoc data analysis to meet business requirements.
• Align above outputs to RED.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Matric
• Relevant degree in Sales or Marketing preferred
• 1-2 years relevant working experience.
• MS Office skills, specifically skilled with Excel and PowerPoint
