Our multi-national client, one of SA’s market leaders in Outsourced Services industry, is looking for a Catering Manager to join their team in East London. The Successful applicant will be responsible for all food service related activities which include managing of daily operations of the kitchen area, implementation of the production process, managing food/labor costs and an overall understanding of HACCP.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing daily operations of the assigned unit
• Implementation of the production process
• Managing food/labor costs
• Overall understanding of HACCP

Minimum Requirements:
• Relevant Tertiary qualification in food and beverage services or culinary arts
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience of progressive/kitchen management
• Experience working within budget guidelines to deliver results
• High Volume, complex food service operation experience is highly desirable
• Driver’s license
• Knowledge of the catering environment ranging from fine dining to restaurant dining
• Knowledge of South African and industry specific laws
• Customer Service Skills
• Management Skills
• Communication Skills
• Exceptional Functions Skills
• Ability to balance budget and save on soft costs
• Computer literate

Salary: R18 000 CTC (includes Provident Fund contribution), Cellphone allowance
