Position available for an Industrial Catering Manager within a private school based in the South of Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have previous experience managing a three meal a day kitchen in a school, hospital, old age home or similar environment. Must be a “foodie”, have an absolute passion for food

Restaurant experience is not sufficient, industrial catering experience is required
The role has a daily two-shift rotation and one 12-hour shift per weekend
Ensure three balanced meals are prepared daily
Own reliable transport a must, with a valid driver’s license
Must be passionate about food and delivering quality
Previous Management experience as the successful candidate will have eight direct reports
Experience catering for large functions
Manage budgets, costing, purchasing and stock
