This Private well established hospital based in the northern Suburb requires Cath Lab RN to work in this busy 2 Cardiac Cauterization suite. This role requires experience in Cardiac Scrubbing preferably Anaesthetics, Recovery and General ICU.

Cases involved are:

Cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, Stenting, Carotid angioplasty and stenting, pacemaker and or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures Vascular, Electro physical studies and Ablations, Cut down for Cardiac Tamponades
Tran’s catheter Aortic Valve Replacement/Implantation (TAVR/TAVI)
Open cases with EVAL (Aortic and stenting )and Peripheral Vascular Grafts endovascular and open procedures
Aortic Aneurysm stenting (Interventional Radiology)

Applicants for this position must :

SANC Registration
Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
Experience in Coronary care unit and general ICU
Theatre and recovery experience with open heart surgery preferable
The Labs work from 07.00- 22.00 and include Saturdays so be willing
Be willing to be on emergency call, being on-call during the evening and night for 7 nights is required as per the roster of staff
