Cath lab Unit Manager required in the Northern Suburbs. This experienced Cath Lab RN should have a good service record in Cath Lab & sound managerial skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage acuity and skill mix in such a way as to ensure cost effective quality care
• Manage all costs emanating from the Cath Lab department
• Facilitate timeous and accurate compilation of files
• Ensure the Cath Lab unit is providing safe, cost effective quality patient care in line with the Clinical Governance strategy and evidence based practice
• Evaluate the patient’s journey through patient experience and stakeholder input.
• Evaluate nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes

Requirements:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior management experience in a similar environment
• Need to have a post basic in Critical Care
• Knowledge of scrubbing technique
• Knowledge of post anaesthetic recovery technique
