Centurion, Pretoria: SITE MANAGER / SUPERVISOR
Minimum Requirements:
-Male
-Matric / Grade 12
-Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
-Relevant experience in the field of Glass and Aluminum a must (KEY REQUIREMENT)
-Knowledge of Shopfronts, Curtain Wall, Sliding Folding doors (Stacking Systems), Frameless and different Aluminium systems and profiles
-Hands-on worker that can work with a team
-Good supervisory / management experience
-Own reliable vehicle
-Stable employment record
-Contactable references
-No previous lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non performance
-To start immediately / as soon as possible
Duties:
-Site management and supervision of Glass and Aluminium manufacturing
-Ensure staff follows company policies and procedures, while manufacturing quality products.
-Inspect work and implements rules in assembly line, such as wearing protective gear or proper uniform.
-Set production goals and meet target dates, complete paperwork daily related to the assembly line
-Report to supervisors, and communicate with other departments in implementing new company policies.
-Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
-Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
-Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
-Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
-Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.
-Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
-Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
-Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Salary: R 15 000.00 – R 30 000.00 gross maximum (Depending on relevant experience)
