A well-known and highly successful Residential and Golf Estate in Gauteng requires the leadership of a Chief Executive Officer.

The purpose of the role will be to lead the Residential Estate (Home Owners Association) and Golf Club in order to achieve the strategic goals and objectives by overseeing the management team and staff.

The appointee should be a seasoned and mature executive, preferably from within the service or hospitality industries and with proven leadership ability. This role should guide the Board in achieving success in the business that contributes significantly to the homeowner investments in the
Estate. A sound understanding of internal controls, policy implementation and the ability to maintain good corporate governance and compliance with statutory requirements is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overall strategic positioning and direction
- Financial management and all commercial activities
- Stakeholder management
- Providing leadership, direction and management to the operational units and functional
managers, with the emphasis on continued building of a cohesive and well-motivated team
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the company

Experience required
- At least 15 years experience in a senior management role preferably in community estate
management.
- Experience in the service or hospitality industries would be an advantage.
- Experience in/knowledge of many of the following specialist areas: financial planning and
accounting, human resource management, property administration and security, hospitality
and events management, IT, legal matters and architectural plans.

Education required
- Relevant academic and/or management qualifications preferably in the field of hospitality,
commerce, accounting or financial management.
