Description: A company who provides information services and solutions for risk management, compliance and business improvement is seeking a Certifications Manager to join their team. The key responsibilities includes: to provide leadership on technical issues and establish appropriate levels of competence for employees in EMEA; participate in the development, review and approval of all technical procedures, processes and documents; provide technical direction to Auditors, Operations and Commercial; responsible for ensuring all full-time and contract auditors are appropriately qualified and trained; assist the Business Development team in the development and growth of the program through various sales activities such as: sales visits, conference and stakeholder meetings; ensure unit meets financial targets; perform the majority of final auditor evaluations; direct and manage the appropriate accreditation processes; direct the review of registration and re-registration process including auditor verification and witness assessments; audit report approvals; improve audit report quality; approve auditors/codes/standards; to provide positive technical recognition to the auditors where they have performed well; deliver certification audits; participate and assist in internal audits, non-conformance resolution and responding to customer complaints; remain knowledgeable, involved and up-to-date with the international standards development industry and Trade Association Program; represent the EMEA on various national and international associations and committees as required; provide support and technical review of audit durations, audit planning and sales proposals; assist in the growth of employees through training and career development activities.
Key Requirements: BSc Food Science /Food Technology/Consumer science or similar; background in Agricultural/Food industry, certified lead auditor.
Additional Requirements: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required; strong and effective people management, with great communication and liaising skills; track record of business improvement and future thinking is desirable; excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce (desirable); ability to apply technical and analytical skills with all levels of the organization; excellent planning and organising skills; result driven and good customer relations; desire to teach and mentor (training and assessment skills will be advantageous); commitment to conduct business with the utmost integrity and in full compliance with the law is absolutely essential.
