Maintenance Industry is seeking a Certified Operator to join their team in Waterfront, Cape Town. We are seeking individuals with technical, operating and safety experience with a background in auto / fitting / rigging. Successful candidates will receive training and will have to pass a test before being appointed in the role.

The Certified Operator will have to work in shifts during the week and weekend (7 days a week, 365 open per year). Morning shift 8:00 till 16:00 evening shift 15:30 till 23:00. It will be requested from time to time to work overtime and holidays.

The Certified Operator will be responsible for:
- Operating machine
- Mechanical and electrical tasks
- Troubleshooting
- Painting
- Accuracy
- Good tool control
- Ability to read schematics
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to take orders and work unsupervised

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree would be an added advantage
- Must have operation / maintenance management experience
- Must have previous engineer / mechanical / technical / electrical experience (to be visible on CV)
- Candidates with experience as an electrician, technician or someone that worked at heights would be an added advantage
- Candidates with a Technical School background would be an added advantage
- Must be fluent in English with good communication skills

Salary: R7,000 CTC a month
